Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon olive oil (15 ml)
- 1 pound chicken breast, diced (450 g)
- 1 teaspoon salt (5 g)
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper (1.5 g)
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder (3 g)
- 1 teaspoon onion powder (3 g)
- 1 cup heavy cream (240 ml)
- 1/2 cup grated halal-friendly cheese (50 g)
- 1 cup shredded halal-friendly cheese (100 g)
- 3 large bell peppers, halved and seeds removed
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (3 g)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add the diced chicken breast to the skillet.
- Season the chicken with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
- Cook the chicken until browned and cooked through, about 6-8 minutes.
- Reduce the heat to low and pour in the heavy cream.
- Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until well combined.
- Allow the sauce to simmer for 3-4 minutes until slightly thickened.
- Remove the skillet from heat and stir in the shredded mozzarella cheese.
- Place the halved bell peppers in a baking dish, cut side up.
- Spoon the creamy garlic chicken mixture into each bell pepper half.
- Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes until the peppers are tender.
- Remove the foil and bake for an additional 5 minutes to lightly brown the top.
- Remove from the oven and sprinkle with chopped fresh parsley.
- Serve warm.
