Ingredients
- 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
- 4 oz cream cheese
- 4 cups chicken broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
Instructions
- Heat the olive oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and sauté until translucent.
- Add the minced garlic and sauté for another minute.
- Pour in the chicken broth and bring to a simmer.
- Add the shredded chicken and Italian seasoning, stirring well.
- Reduce the heat and mix in the cream cheese until fully melted.
- Pour in the heavy cream and stir until the soup is creamy.
