Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
  • 4 oz cream cheese
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil


Instructions

  1. Heat the olive oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and sauté until translucent.
  2. Add the minced garlic and sauté for another minute.
  3. Pour in the chicken broth and bring to a simmer.
  4. Add the shredded chicken and Italian seasoning, stirring well.
  5. Reduce the heat and mix in the cream cheese until fully melted.
