Description
A delicious and comforting dish featuring chicken thighs baked in a rich, creamy sauce infused with garlic and Parmesan cheese.
Ingredients
- 4 chicken thighs
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Season the chicken thighs generously with salt and pepper.
- In a large oven-safe skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat.
- Sear the chicken thighs on both sides until they turn golden brown, about 5 minutes per side.
- Once done, remove the chicken from the skillet and set it aside.
- In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
- Pour in the heavy cream and bring it to a gentle simmer.
- Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until the mixture turns smooth and creamy.
- Return the chicken thighs to the skillet, coating them well with the creamy sauce.
- Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 25-30 minutes, until the chicken is fully cooked.
- Garnish with freshly chopped parsley before serving.
Notes
Searing the chicken before baking locks in moisture and enhances flavor. For a creamier sauce, adjust consistency with water or broth as needed.
