Description

Easy and comforting creamy oven-baked chicken thighs with a rich garlic and Parmesan sauce.

Ingredients

  • 4 chicken thighs
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large oven-safe skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat.
  3. Season the chicken thighs with salt and pepper. Sear the thighs in the skillet until golden brown on both sides, roughly 5 minutes for each side.
  4. Once browned, remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
  5. In the same skillet, add the minced garlic, sautéing for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  6. Stir in the heavy cream and Parmesan cheese. Cook the mixture, allowing it to thicken slightly.
  7. Return the chicken thighs to the skillet, ensuring they are well-coated with the sauce.
  8. Transfer the skillet to the oven and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through.
  9. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

For a lighter sauce, consider using half-and-half instead of heavy cream. Allow the chicken to rest after searing for juiciness.
