Ingredients
- 4 chicken breasts
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 cups cooked rice
Instructions
- In a large pot, heat some oil over medium heat.
- Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and paprika.
- Add the chicken to the pot and cook until browned on both sides.
- Remove the chicken and set aside.
- In the same pot, add onions and garlic, sauté until translucent.
- Stir in the heavy cream, chicken broth, and thyme.
- Return the chicken to the pot, cover, and let simmer for 20-25 minutes, until the chicken is cooked through.
- Serve the creamy chicken over cooked rice.
