Description

A flavorful twist on classic fried chicken with a spicy bang bang sauce that adds sweetness and heat, perfect for gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb Chicken breast
  • 1 cup Flour
  • 1/2 cup Cornstarch
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 cup Breadcrumbs
  • Oil for frying
  • 1/2 cup Mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup Sweet chili sauce
  • 2 tbsp Sriracha
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste


Instructions

  1. Cut the chicken breast into bite-sized pieces.
  2. In a bowl, mix flour, cornstarch, salt, and pepper.
  3. In another bowl, beat the egg.
  4. <li dip chicken pieces in the flour mixture, then in the egg, and finally coat with breadcrumbs.

  5. Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
  6. Fry the chicken pieces until golden brown and cooked through.
  7. In a separate bowl, mix mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, and sriracha to create bang bang sauce.
  8. Once the chicken is cooked, toss it in the bang bang sauce.
  9. Serve hot as an appetizer or snack.

Notes

For added flavor, consider including spices like paprika or garlic powder in the flour mixture. To bake instead of fry, preheat oven to 400°F and spritz breaded chicken with oil.
