Ingredients
- 1 pound ground chicken
- 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Burger buns
- Lettuce and tomato
- Any desired toppings
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a bowl, combine ground chicken, egg, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Form the mixture into even-sized patties.
- Coat each patty in panko breadcrumbs, pressing gently to adhere.
- Place the patties on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, flipping halfway, until the chicken is cooked through and the coating is golden and crispy.
- Serve on burger buns with lettuce, tomato, and your choice of toppings.
Notes
For extra crunch, freeze the patties for 15-20 minutes before baking. Ensure not to overcrowd the baking sheet.
