Ingredients
- 500g chicken breast, shredded
- 1 cup cornflour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon pepper
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1-2 teaspoons dried red chillies
- 1 onion, sliced
- 1 bell pepper, sliced
- Spring onions for garnish
- Sesame seeds for garnish
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix cornflour, salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
- Coat the shredded chicken in the cornflour mixture.
- Heat vegetable oil in a pan over medium-high heat.
- Fry the chicken until golden and crispy. Remove and drain on paper towels.
- In the same pan, add the dried red chillies, sliced onion, and bell pepper. Sauté until the vegetables are slightly soft.
- Add the fried chicken back to the pan, drizzle with soy sauce, and stir well to combine.
- Serve hot, garnished with spring onions and sesame seeds.
Notes
For a twist, try adding different vegetables or swapping chicken for shrimp or tofu. Make sure not to overcrowd the pan while frying to maintain crispiness.
