Ingredients
- 4 chicken breasts
- 4 slices of ham
- 4 slices of Swiss cheese
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup flour
- 1/4 cup honey mustard sauce
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Oil for frying (if pan-frying)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) if baking.
- Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
- Dredge each chicken breast in flour, dip in beaten eggs, and then coat with breadcrumbs.
- Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat and pan-fry the chicken until golden brown on both sides, about 5 minutes per side. Alternatively, place the breaded chicken on a baking sheet and bake for 25-30 minutes until cooked through.
- Place a slice of ham and cheese on top of each chicken breast.
- Drizzle honey mustard sauce over the top before serving.
