Description

This delightful dish combines sweet honey and pungent garlic to create a crispy and tender chicken experience, perfect for weeknight dinners.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound chicken thighs or breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • Chopped green onions, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Combine honey, minced garlic, soy sauce, salt, and pepper in a bowl to create a marinade.
  2. Add chicken pieces and coat them thoroughly. Cover with plastic wrap and let marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  3. Coat the marinated chicken pieces in cornstarch and let any excess fall away.
  4. Heat vegetable oil in a pan over medium-high heat.
  5. Place the chicken in the pan in a single layer, avoiding overcrowding. Cook until crispy and golden brown, about 5-7 minutes per side.
  6. Remove from heat and garnish with chopped green onions. Serve hot and enjoy!

Notes

Let coated chicken rest for a few minutes before frying for extra crispiness. Adjust cooking time based on the size of chicken pieces.
