Ingredients
- 4 chicken cutlets
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 cup fresh basil, chopped
- 1 cup bread crumbs
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp pepper
- 2 tbsp olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Set up a breading station: In one bowl, beat the egg. In another bowl, mix bread crumbs, grated Parmesan cheese, chopped basil, salt, and pepper.
- Dip each chicken cutlet into the egg, then coat with the breadcrumb mixture.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook the chicken cutlets for about 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
- Transfer the cutlets to a baking sheet and bake in the oven for 10 minutes to ensure they are cooked through.
