Ingredients

  • 2 large chicken breasts
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves minced garlic
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • Optional: 1 cup chopped spinach


Instructions

  1. Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper on both sides.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering.
  3. Add chicken to the skillet and cook for 5-6 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  4. Remove chicken from skillet and set aside.
  5. Add minced garlic to the skillet and sauté until fragrant.
  6. Pour in heavy cream and stir continuously until smooth.
  7. Add Italian seasoning and grated parmesan cheese, mixing until the sauce thickens.
  8. If desired, add chopped spinach and let simmer until wilted.
  9. Return chicken to the skillet and spoon sauce over it, simmering for about a minute.
