Ingredients
- 2 large chicken breasts
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 cloves minced garlic
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1 cup grated parmesan cheese
- Optional: 1 cup chopped spinach
Instructions
- Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper on both sides.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering.
- Add chicken to the skillet and cook for 5-6 minutes on each side until golden brown.
- Remove chicken from skillet and set aside.
- Add minced garlic to the skillet and sauté until fragrant.
- Pour in heavy cream and stir continuously until smooth.
- Add Italian seasoning and grated parmesan cheese, mixing until the sauce thickens.
- If desired, add chopped spinach and let simmer until wilted.
- Return chicken to the skillet and spoon sauce over it, simmering for about a minute.
