A quick and easy slow-cooked chicken dish with a creamy sauce, perfect for busy weeknights.
Ingredients
- 4 chicken breasts
- 1 packet of Italian dressing mix
- 1 can of cream of chicken soup
- 1 block (8 oz) of cream cheese
- 1 cup of chicken broth
- 8 oz of angel hair pasta
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Parmesan cheese for serving
- Chopped parsley for garnish
Instructions
- In a slow cooker, combine the Italian dressing mix, cream of chicken soup, cream cheese, and chicken broth.
- Add the chicken breasts to the mixture and stir to coat.
- Cook on low for 6-8 hours or until the chicken is tender and fully cooked.
- About 30 minutes before serving, cook the angel hair pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- Once the chicken is done, shred it in the slow cooker and mix everything together.
- Serve the creamy chicken mixture over a bed of cooked angel hair pasta.
- Garnish with Parmesan cheese and chopped parsley before serving.
Notes
For best results, use fresh chicken breasts and adjust seasoning to taste. Leftovers can be stored for 3-4 days in the refrigerator.
