Description

A creamy, flavorful slow-cooked dish featuring tender chicken breasts and a rich sauce, perfect for weeknight dinners.


Ingredients

  • 1.5 pounds of boneless, skinless chicken breast
  • 3 cloves of garlic, chopped or left whole
  • 10.5 ounces of cream of chicken soup
  • 3/4 cup of chicken stock
  • 4 ounces of cream cheese
  • 1/4 cup of butter
  • 0.6 ounces of Italian dressing mix
  • 1 pound of angel hair pasta


Instructions

  1. Spray the inside of the crockpot with nonstick cooking spray.
  2. Lay the chicken breasts at the bottom of the crockpot and add the garlic.
  3. Soften the butter and cream cheese in the microwave.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk the butter and cream cheese until silky.
  5. Incorporate the cream of chicken soup, followed by the Italian dressing mix and chicken stock; whisk until well combined.
  6. Pour the creamy mixture over the chicken in the crockpot.
  7. Cover and cook on low for 6 to 8 hours.
  8. Optional: Shred the chicken with two forks 30 minutes before serving.

Notes

Serve over cooked angel hair pasta and sprinkle with freshly chopped parsley for added flavor.
