Ingredients
- 1 lb beef (flank steak or sirloin)
- 2 cups broccoli florets
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 cloves garlic (minced)
- 2 tsp ginger (grated)
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- 1/4 cup water
- Cooked rice (for serving)
Instructions
- Slice the beef into thin strips.
- In a bowl, mix soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic, and ginger.
- Place the beef in the crock pot and pour the sauce over it.
- Cook on low for 4-5 hours or until beef is tender.
- About 30 minutes before serving, add the broccoli florets.
- In a small bowl, mix cornstarch with water until smooth and stir into the crock pot to thicken the sauce.
- Serve over cooked rice.

For deeper flavors, consider marinating the beef for an hour before cooking. Adjust brown sugar based on your sweetness preference.
