Description

A hearty and comforting chicken noodle soup made easily in a Crock Pot, perfect for chilly evenings.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb chicken breast
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup carrots, sliced
  • 1 cup celery, sliced
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cups egg noodles
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp dried thyme
  • Salt and pepper to taste


Instructions

  1. Place chicken, broth, carrots, celery, onion, garlic powder, thyme, salt, and pepper in the Crock Pot.
  2. Cover and cook on low for 360 minutes (6-7 hours) or high for 240 minutes (3-4 hours).
  3. Shred the chicken with two forks and return to the pot.
  4. Stir in the egg noodles and cook for an additional 20 minutes on high until the noodles are tender.
  5. Serve hot and enjoy!

Notes

For best results, layer heartier vegetables on the bottom and avoid lifting the lid during cooking.
