Description
A hearty and comforting chicken noodle soup made easily in a Crock Pot, perfect for chilly evenings.
Ingredients
- 1 lb chicken breast
- 4 cups chicken broth
- 1 cup carrots, sliced
- 1 cup celery, sliced
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cups egg noodles
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp dried thyme
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Place chicken, broth, carrots, celery, onion, garlic powder, thyme, salt, and pepper in the Crock Pot.
- Cover and cook on low for 360 minutes (6-7 hours) or high for 240 minutes (3-4 hours).
- Shred the chicken with two forks and return to the pot.
- Stir in the egg noodles and cook for an additional 20 minutes on high until the noodles are tender.
- Serve hot and enjoy!
Notes
For best results, layer heartier vegetables on the bottom and avoid lifting the lid during cooking.
