Description

A heartwarming and flavorful jambalaya made effortlessly in a slow cooker, combining chicken, andouille sausage, vegetables, and Cajun spices.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb chicken, diced
  • 1 lb andouille sausage, sliced
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 bell pepper, chopped
  • 2 celery stalks, chopped
  • 3 cups chicken broth
  • 1 can diced tomatoes
  • 2 cups rice
  • 1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Green onions for garnish


Instructions

  1. In your Crock Pot, combine the diced chicken, sliced andouille sausage, chopped onion, bell pepper, and celery.
  2. Pour in the chicken broth and add the can of diced tomatoes.
  3. Stir in the rice, Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper, ensuring all components blend well.
