Description

A creamy and savory slow-cooked dish that transforms chicken breasts into a tender delight with rich ranch flavor.


Ingredients

  • 4 chicken breasts
  • 1 packet ranch seasoning mix
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup cream cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup sliced mushrooms (optional)
  • Salt and pepper to taste


Instructions

  1. Place four chicken breasts in the crock pot.
  2. In a separate bowl, mix ranch seasoning and chicken broth. Stir well and pour over the chicken.
  3. Top the chicken with cream cheese and add mushrooms if desired.
  4. Set the slow cooker to low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
  5. Shred the chicken in the pot with two forks when it’s done.
  6. Mix everything together and stir in shredded cheddar until melted.
  7. Season with salt and pepper to taste, then serve.

Notes
