Ingredients
- 1.5 to 2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts or thighs
- 1 (8 oz) block cream cheese
- 1 cup salsa
- 1 packet taco seasoning
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- Tortilla chips, for serving
- Optional toppings: diced tomatoes, cilantro, sour cream, jalapeƱos, and green onions
Instructions
- Add the chicken, cream cheese, salsa, and taco seasoning to your crockpot. Mix well to ensure the chicken is coated.
- Cover and cook on LOW for 4ā6 hours or HIGH for 2ā3 hours.
- Once the chicken is tender, shred it with forks and stir everything together until thoroughly combined.
- Add cheddar cheese and mix until melted and creamy.
- Spoon the delightful mixture over tortilla chips and add your choice of toppings. Serve hot!
