Description

A delicious and easy-to-make crockpot recipe combining honey and soy sauce for tender, flavorful chicken, ideal for busy weeknights.

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Green onions for garnish

Instructions

  1. Place the chicken breasts at the bottom of the crockpot.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, apple cider vinegar, salt, and pepper.
  3. Pour the mixture over the chicken, coating each piece well.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
  5. Once done, shred the chicken in the pot using two forks and stir into the sauce.
  6. Serve hot, garnished with sliced green onions.

Notes

For thicker sauce, remove chicken and simmer the sauce on the stovetop. Use fresh garlic for best flavor.
