A delicious and easy-to-make crockpot recipe combining honey and soy sauce for tender, flavorful chicken, ideal for busy weeknights.
Ingredients
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Green onions for garnish
Instructions
- Place the chicken breasts at the bottom of the crockpot.
- In a mixing bowl, combine honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, apple cider vinegar, salt, and pepper.
- Pour the mixture over the chicken, coating each piece well.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
- Once done, shred the chicken in the pot using two forks and stir into the sauce.
- Serve hot, garnished with sliced green onions.
Notes
For thicker sauce, remove chicken and simmer the sauce on the stovetop. Use fresh garlic for best flavor.
