Ingredients
- 1.5 pounds boneless, skinless chicken thighs
- 1 cup orange juice
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup honey
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 teaspoon grated ginger
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons water
- Green onions, chopped (for garnish)
- Sesame seeds (for garnish)
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix together the orange juice, soy sauce, honey, garlic, and ginger.
- Place the chicken thighs in the crockpot and pour the orange sauce over the chicken.
- Cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
- Once cooked, remove the chicken and shred it with two forks.
- Mix the cornstarch with water and stir it into the sauce in the crockpot. Cook for an additional 15-20 minutes until the sauce thickens.
- Return the shredded chicken to the crockpot and stir to coat.
- Serve hot, garnished with green onions and sesame seeds.
