Easy and flavorful shredded chicken tacos made in a crockpot, perfect for busy weeknights.
Ingredients
- 2 pounds chicken breasts
- 1 packet taco seasoning
- 1 cup salsa
- Taco shells or tortillas
- Toppings: lettuce, cheese, avocado, sour cream
Instructions
- Place the chicken breasts in the crockpot.
- Sprinkle the taco seasoning over the chicken.
- Pour the salsa on top of the chicken.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
- Once cooked, shred the chicken with two forks.
- Serve the shredded chicken in taco shells or tortillas with your favorite toppings.
Notes
To add extra flavor, consider adding diced bell peppers or onions to the crockpot before cooking.
