Description

A comforting and effortless dish featuring tender chicken breasts slow-cooked in a rich teriyaki sauce, perfectly paired with vibrant broccoli.

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs chicken breasts (about 900g)
  • 1 cup teriyaki sauce (240 ml)
  • 1 cup broccoli florets (90g)

Instructions

  1. Place the chicken breasts in a single layer in the crockpot.
  2. Pour the teriyaki sauce over the chicken, ensuring it’s well-coated.
  3. Cover the crockpot, set it to low, and cook for about 6 hours.
  4. In the last 30 minutes, stir in the broccoli florets.
  5. If desired, shred the chicken after cooking, mixing it back into the sauce.
  6. Serve hot over rice or noodles.

Notes

Let the chicken rest after cooking to retain its moisture. Adjust the teriyaki sauce amount to your taste. Other vegetables can be added if desired.
