A delicious dish of boneless chicken tossed with bell peppers and a zesty sauce, perfect for busy weeknights or casual get-togethers.
Ingredients
- 500g boneless chicken, cut into pieces
- 2 tablespoons garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons ginger, minced
- 1 cup bell peppers, sliced
- 1 cup onions, sliced
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons chili sauce
- 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
- Salt, to taste
- Black pepper, to taste
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- Spring onions, for garnish
Instructions
- In a large bowl, marinate the chicken pieces with soy sauce, chili sauce, oyster sauce, salt, and pepper. Let it sit for about 20 minutes.
- In a pan, heat the vegetable oil over medium heat.
- Add minced garlic and ginger; sauté until fragrant.
- Add the marinated chicken and cook until browned and cooked through, about 7-10 minutes.
- Add the sliced bell peppers and onions; stir-fry for another 5 minutes until the vegetables are tender.
- Garnish with spring onions before serving.
- Serve hot with rice or noodles.
Notes
For perfect results, ensure that you do not overcrowd the pan while cooking the chicken. This helps achieve a nice sear.
