A comforting and easy casserole made with rotisserie chicken, penne pasta, and creamy Alfredo sauce, topped with gooey melted cheese.
Ingredients
- 1 lb penne pasta
- 2 cups rotisserie chicken, shredded
- 2 cups Alfredo sauce
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
- Water as needed
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large baking dish, combine the uncooked penne pasta, Alfredo sauce, and shredded rotisserie chicken.
- Mix in the mozzarella and Cheddar cheeses.
- Pour in enough water to cover the pasta.
- Stir everything together until well combined.
- Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes.
- Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
For extra flavor, consider adding cooked vegetables such as broccoli or spinach. Experiment with different types of cheese for variation.
