Description

Simple yet flavorful baked chicken thighs that bring comfort to family dinners with crispy skin and tender meat.

Ingredients

  • 8 pieces chicken thighs (bone-in, skin-on)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried rosemary
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika (optional)

Instructions

  1. Pat the chicken thighs dry with paper towels.
  2. Preheat your oven to 425°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  3. Drizzle olive oil over the chicken thighs, rubbing it in thoroughly.
  4. In a bowl, combine garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, thyme, rosemary, salt, black pepper, and smoked paprika.
  5. Sprinkle the spice mixture over both sides of the thighs, pressing gently to adhere.
  6. Place the thighs skin-side up on the baking sheet with space between each piece.
  7. Bake for 35-40 minutes, until internal temperature reaches 165°F and skin is golden brown.
  8. Let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

For extra flavor, consider marinating the thighs in olive oil and spices for a few hours before baking. Use a meat thermometer to ensure proper cooking.
