- 2 tablespoons sugar

- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- Cooked rice or noodles for serving

Instructions
- In a bowl, mix soy sauce, mirin, sugar, garlic, and ginger to create the teriyaki sauce.
- In another small bowl, mix cornstarch with a little water to make a slurry.
