Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 4 ounces cream cheese (softened)
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 3 cups beef broth
- 2 cloves garlic (minced)
- 6-8 slices bacon (cooked and crumbled)
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1 1/2 tablespoons fresh parsley (minced)
- 1 1/2 teaspoons dried dill
- 1 teaspoon mustard powder
- 1 1/2 cups cheddar cheese (freshly grated)
- 1 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Heat a large pot over medium-high heat.
- Add ground beef and minced garlic to the pot, breaking the meat apart while cooking until browned.
- Once cooked, carefully drain excess grease from the pot.
- Pour in beef broth and add parsley, dill, Worcestershire sauce, and salt.
- Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 25-30 minutes.
- Reduce heat to low and add grated cheddar cheese, cream cheese, and heavy cream.
- Whisk continuously until all cheese has melted and soup has thickened to desired consistency.
- Ladle into bowls and top with crumbled bacon before serving.
