A delicious and easy recipe for teriyaki chicken cooked in a slow cooker, perfect for family dinners.
Ingredients
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup teriyaki sauce
- 1/4 cup honey
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1/4 cup green onions, chopped
- 1 tablespoon sesame seeds (optional)
- Rice, for serving
Instructions
- Place chicken breasts in the bottom of the crockpot.
- In a bowl, mix together teriyaki sauce, honey, soy sauce, garlic, and ginger.
- Pour the sauce mixture over the chicken.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours or high for 3-4 hours, until chicken is cooked through and tender.
- Shred chicken in the sauce before serving.
- Serve over rice, garnished with green onions and sesame seeds, if desired.
Notes
