Description

A delicious and easy recipe for teriyaki chicken cooked in a slow cooker, perfect for family dinners.

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup teriyaki sauce
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/4 cup green onions, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds (optional)
  • Rice, for serving

Instructions

  1. Place chicken breasts in the bottom of the crockpot.
  2. In a bowl, mix together teriyaki sauce, honey, soy sauce, garlic, and ginger.
  3. Pour the sauce mixture over the chicken.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours or high for 3-4 hours, until chicken is cooked through and tender.
  5. Shred chicken in the sauce before serving.
  6. Serve over rice, garnished with green onions and sesame seeds, if desired.

Notes

Taste the sauce before adding to the chicken; adjust sweetness or saltiness per preference. Marinating chicken prior to cooking can enhance flavor.
