Ingredients

  • 5 slices beef bacon
  • 6 large eggs
  • 1 cup (240 ml) milk
  • 2 tablespoon (30 ml) s butter, melted
  • 5 teaspoon (3 ml) salt
  • 25 teaspoon (1 ml) ground black pepper
  • 25 cup (60 ml) chopped green onions
  • 1 cup (240 ml) shredded Cheddar cheese

Instructions

  1. Collect all the necessary items. Set your oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) to heat up. If a 10-inch oven-safe skillet isn’t available, lightly grease a 7×11-inch baking dish instead.
  2. Cook the beef bacon in a big oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat, turning now and then, until it’s browned evenly, approximately 10 minutes. Lay the cooked bacon on paper towels to drain, then crumble and leave aside.
  3. In a bowl, combine the eggs, milk, melted butter, salt, and pepper by whisking them together; pour this mixture into your oven-safe skillet or the baking dish you prepared. Scatter the chopped green onions and crumbled bacon on top. Layer with Cheddar cheese.
  4. Place in the preheated oven and bake until a knife inserted in the center comes out clean, which should take around 25 to 30 minutes.
