Description

A comforting and easy dish featuring tender chicken, creamy soups, and fluffy rice, perfect for busy weeknights.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 cups Minute rice (white or brown)
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) water
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 envelope Lipton onion soup mix

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the cream of chicken soup, cream of mushroom soup, water, and rice. Stir until well mixed.
  3. Pour the mixture into a greased 9×13 baking pan and lay the chicken breasts on top.
  4. Sprinkle the Lipton onion soup mix evenly over the chicken.
  5. Cover the pan tightly with aluminum foil and place it in the oven.
  6. Bake for 1 to 1½ hours until the chicken is cooked through.
  7. For an extra touch, uncover the dish during the last 10 minutes and sprinkle some shredded cheese on top, if desired.

Notes

Cover the dish tightly while baking to retain moisture. You can add vegetables for extra nutrition.
