Description

Delicious fried chicken burgers marinated in buttermilk, with a crispy coating and juicy filling, perfect for family dinners and gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 4 chicken breasts
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Vegetable oil for frying
  • Burger buns
  • Lettuce
  • Tomato
  • Any preferred toppings

Instructions

  1. Marinate the chicken breasts in buttermilk for at least 1 hour or overnight in the refrigerator.
  2. In a separate bowl, combine flour, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Heat oil in a deep pan over medium-high heat.
  4. Remove chicken from buttermilk, allowing excess to drip off.
  5. Dredge each chicken breast in the flour mixture until fully coated.
  6. Fry the chicken in the hot oil until golden brown and cooked through, about 6-8 minutes per side.
  7. Drain on paper towels.
  8. Assemble the burgers with chicken on buns and add lettuce, tomato, and desired toppings.

Notes

Experiment with different seasonings for the coating, and keep oil temperature consistent while frying.
