Ingredients
- 4 chicken breasts
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Vegetable oil for frying
- Burger buns
- Lettuce
- Tomato
- Any preferred toppings
Instructions
- Marinate the chicken breasts in buttermilk for at least 1 hour or overnight in the refrigerator.
- In a separate bowl, combine flour, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Heat oil in a deep pan over medium-high heat.
- Remove chicken from buttermilk, allowing excess to drip off.
- Dredge each chicken breast in the flour mixture until fully coated.
- Fry the chicken in the hot oil until golden brown and cooked through, about 6-8 minutes per side.
- Drain on paper towels.
- Assemble the burgers with chicken on buns and add lettuce, tomato, and desired toppings.
