Description

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds chicken thighs, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, grated
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup cornstarch (or potato starch)
  • Oil for frying
  • Green onions, for garnish (optional)


Instructions

  1. Combine soy sauce, ginger, and garlic in a bowl. Add chicken pieces and marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  2. Heat oil in a deep skillet or pan over medium heat.
  3. Dredge marinated chicken pieces in cornstarch until fully coated.
  4. Fry the chicken in batches for about 4-5 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through.
  5. Remove the chicken and drain on paper towels.
  6. Serve hot, garnished with green onions if desired.
