Ingredients
- 2 chicken breasts, sliced
- 8 oz pasta (fettuccine or penne)
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- Melt the butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add the sliced chicken breasts and cook until golden and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
- Stir in the minced garlic and cook for an additional minute.
- Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer.
- Stir in the Parmesan cheese and mix until creamy.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss to combine.
- Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
Notes
For a little extra flavor, consider adding red pepper flakes when incorporating the cream.
