Description

A comforting dish featuring tender chicken, vibrant vegetables, and flavorful lo mein noodles, all tossed in a savory garlic sauce.

Ingredients

  • 8 oz lo mein noodles or spaghetti
  • 1 lb chicken breasts, sliced
  • 2 cups mixed vegetables (bell peppers, carrots, broccoli)
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Green onions for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook the lo mein noodles according to package instructions, then drain and set aside.
  2. Heat vegetable oil in a large pan or wok over medium-high heat.
  3. Add the sliced chicken and cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
  4. Add the minced garlic and mixed vegetables, stir-frying for an additional 3-4 minutes until the vegetables are tender.
  5. In a small bowl, mix soy sauce, oyster sauce, and sesame oil.
  6. Add the cooked noodles to the pan along with the sauce, tossing everything together until well combined.
  7. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  8. Serve hot, garnished with chopped green onions.

Notes

For best results, don’t overcrowd the pan while cooking and use fresh vegetables for more flavor.
