Description

A simple and delicious garlic chicken noodles recipe that brings warmth and comfort to any weeknight dinner.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb chicken thighs, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 8 oz noodles (spaghetti or egg noodles)
  • 2 green onions, sliced
  • Sesame seeds for garnish


Instructions

  1. Cook the noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat sesame oil over medium heat. Add the chicken pieces and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
  3. Add minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for 1 minute.
  4. In a small bowl, mix soy sauce and honey. Pour over the chicken and stir to coat.
  5. Reduce heat and let simmer for 3-5 minutes until the sauce thickens.
  6. Toss the cooked noodles into the skillet and mix well.
  7. Serve garnished with sliced green onions and sesame seeds.

Notes

Use fresh garlic for the best flavor. Add red pepper flakes for a little heat.
