A simple and delicious garlic chicken noodles recipe that brings warmth and comfort to any weeknight dinner.
Ingredients
- 1 lb chicken thighs, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 8 oz noodles (spaghetti or egg noodles)
- 2 green onions, sliced
- Sesame seeds for garnish
Instructions
- Cook the noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat sesame oil over medium heat. Add the chicken pieces and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
- Add minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for 1 minute.
- In a small bowl, mix soy sauce and honey. Pour over the chicken and stir to coat.
- Reduce heat and let simmer for 3-5 minutes until the sauce thickens.
- Toss the cooked noodles into the skillet and mix well.
- Serve garnished with sliced green onions and sesame seeds.
Notes
Use fresh garlic for the best flavor. Add red pepper flakes for a little heat.
