Description
Delicious and flavorful chicken skewers marinated in garlic, Parmesan, and Italian herbs, perfect for grilling.
Ingredients
- 1 pound boneless skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1-inch cubes
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon dried Italian herbs (oregano, basil, thyme)
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
- Optional: pinch of red pepper flakes
Instructions
- If using wooden skewers, soak them in water for at least 30 minutes to prevent burning.
- In a large bowl, combine olive oil, minced garlic, Parmesan cheese, Italian herbs, salt, and black pepper. Mix well to create the marinade.
- Add the chicken cubes to the marinade and toss until evenly coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes or up to 2 hours for more flavor.
- Preheat your grill or grill pan over medium-high heat.
- Thread the marinated chicken cubes onto the skewers, leaving a little space between each piece for even cooking.
- Grill the skewers for about 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally, until the chicken is cooked through and has nice grill marks. The internal temperature should reach 165°F.
- Remove from the grill and let rest for a few minutes. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
Notes
Marinate the chicken longer for deeper flavor. Consider adding red pepper flakes for a spicy kick.
