Ingredients
- 2 pounds (907 g) chicken wings (907 grams)
- 2 tablespoons (30 ml) olive oil (30 milliliters)
- 1 teaspoon (5 ml) salt (5 grams)
- 1/2 teaspoon (3 ml) black pepper (1 gram)
- 1 teaspoon (5 ml) garlic powder (2 grams)
- 1 teaspoon (5 ml) onion powder (2 grams)
- 1/2 teaspoon (3 ml) paprika (1 gram)
- 1/4 teaspoon (1 ml) cayenne pepper (optional) (0.5 grams)
- 1/2 cup (120 ml) grated cheddar cheese (50 grams)
- 2 tablespoons (30 ml) chopped fresh parsley (8 grams)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and place a wire rack on top.
- Pat the chicken wings dry with paper towels.
- In a large bowl, combine olive oil, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, and cayenne pepper (if using).
- Add the chicken wings to the bowl and toss to coat them evenly with the seasoning mixture.
- Place the wings in a single layer on the wire rack.
- Roast the wings in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes, turning halfway through.
