Ingredients

  • 2 pounds (907 g) chicken wings (907 grams)
  • 2 tablespoons (30 ml) olive oil (30 milliliters)
  • 1 teaspoon (5 ml) salt (5 grams)
  • 1/2 teaspoon (3 ml) black pepper (1 gram)
  • 1 teaspoon (5 ml) garlic powder (2 grams)
  • 1 teaspoon (5 ml) onion powder (2 grams)
  • 1/2 teaspoon (3 ml) paprika (1 gram)
  • 1/4 teaspoon (1 ml) cayenne pepper (optional) (0.5 grams)
  • 1/2 cup (120 ml) grated cheddar cheese (50 grams)
  • 2 tablespoons (30 ml) chopped fresh parsley (8 grams)


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and place a wire rack on top.
  3. Pat the chicken wings dry with paper towels.
  4. In a large bowl, combine olive oil, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, and cayenne pepper (if using).
  5. Add the chicken wings to the bowl and toss to coat them evenly with the seasoning mixture.
  6. Place the wings in a single layer on the wire rack.
  7. Roast the wings in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes, turning halfway through.
