A simple yet flavorful marinade that transforms plain chicken breasts into a delightful Mediterranean dish.


Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 4 chicken breasts


Instructions

  1. In a bowl, whisk together olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, oregano, salt, black pepper, and paprika until well combined.
  2. Place the chicken breasts in a resealable plastic bag or shallow dish and pour the marinade over the chicken, ensuring each piece is well-coated.
  3. Seal the bag or cover the dish and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, or up to overnight.
  4. Preheat the grill or oven to the desired temperature.
  5. Remove the chicken from the marinade and discard the leftover marinade.
  6. Grill or bake the chicken until fully cooked, reaching an internal temperature of 165°F (around 6-7 minutes per side on the grill or 25-30 minutes in the oven).
