Description

A quick and flavorful Greek chicken dish featuring zesty lemon and tangy feta, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

  • 4 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/2 cup crumbled feta cheese
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • Juice of 2 large lemons
  • 4 cloves minced garlic
  • 1 tablespoon dried oregano
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F.
  2. Mix the lemon juice, minced garlic, olive oil, dried oregano, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  3. Place the chicken breasts in a baking dish and pour the marinade over them, ensuring they are well coated.
  4. Let the chicken marinate for at least 30 minutes to deepen the flavors.
  5. Sprinkle the crumbled feta cheese evenly over the chicken breasts.
  6. Transfer the baking dish to the preheated oven and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F.
  7. Remove the chicken from the oven and let it rest for 5 minutes. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired.

Notes

For added flavor, use fresh lemons and high-quality feta. Leftovers keep well in the refrigerator for up to three days.
