Description

A vibrant and flavorful Greek chicken dish served with creamy tzatziki sauce, perfect for warm evenings and gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 4 chicken breasts
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup Greek yogurt
  • 1 cucumber, grated
  • 1 tablespoon fresh dill, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 clove garlic, minced

Instructions

  1. Marinate the chicken: mix olive oil, oregano, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in a bowl. Add the chicken breasts and coat well. Let it marinate for 15 minutes.
  2. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Grill the chicken for about 6-7 minutes on each side or until cooked through.
  3. While the chicken is grilling, prepare the tzatziki: in a bowl, combine Greek yogurt, grated cucumber, dill, lemon juice, and minced garlic. Mix well.
  4. Once the chicken is cooked, let it rest for a few minutes, then slice it.
  5. Serve the grilled chicken with a generous dollop of tzatziki on top.

Notes

For best results, use fresh herbs in the marinade and monitor the grill’s temperature to avoid overcooking the chicken.
