Description

Delicious and healthy Greek Turkey Patties made with lean ground turkey, fresh spinach, feta cheese, and Mediterranean herbs.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground turkey (99% fat free)
  • 2 cups chopped baby spinach (loosely packed)
  • 1/4 cup diced red onion
  • 3 tsp minced garlic
  • 1 1/2 tsp fresh dill
  • 1 1/2 tsp fresh oregano
  • 1/2 tsp fine sea salt
  • 1/2 tsp fresh ground black pepper
  • 4 Tbsp feta cheese (crumbled)
  • 1 Tbsp olive oil

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, combine ground turkey, chopped spinach, diced red onion, minced garlic, dill, oregano, salt, and black pepper. Mix gently until well combined.
  2. Add crumbled feta cheese and fold in carefully.
  3. Shape the mixture into six equal patties with uniform thickness.
  4. Heat a large skillet over medium heat and add olive oil.
  5. Cook patties for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through (internal temperature of 165°F).
  6. Serve with tzatziki sauce, a fresh green salad, or roasted veggies.

Notes

Consider adding more fresh herbs for a bolder flavor or using breadcrumbs to help bind the mixture if necessary.
