Delicious and healthy Greek Turkey Patties made with lean ground turkey, fresh spinach, feta cheese, and Mediterranean herbs.
Ingredients
- 1 lb ground turkey (99% fat free)
- 2 cups chopped baby spinach (loosely packed)
- 1/4 cup diced red onion
- 3 tsp minced garlic
- 1 1/2 tsp fresh dill
- 1 1/2 tsp fresh oregano
- 1/2 tsp fine sea salt
- 1/2 tsp fresh ground black pepper
- 4 Tbsp feta cheese (crumbled)
- 1 Tbsp olive oil
Instructions
- In a medium bowl, combine ground turkey, chopped spinach, diced red onion, minced garlic, dill, oregano, salt, and black pepper. Mix gently until well combined.
- Add crumbled feta cheese and fold in carefully.
- Shape the mixture into six equal patties with uniform thickness.
- Heat a large skillet over medium heat and add olive oil.
- Cook patties for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through (internal temperature of 165°F).
- Serve with tzatziki sauce, a fresh green salad, or roasted veggies.
Notes
Consider adding more fresh herbs for a bolder flavor or using breadcrumbs to help bind the mixture if necessary.
