Description

A flavorful and comforting dish made with tender shredded chicken, vibrant green salsa, and gooey cheese, wrapped in corn tortillas.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked shredded chicken
  • 8 corn tortillas
  • 1 cup green salsa
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or Monterey Jack)
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup chopped cilantro
  • Salt and pepper to taste


Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix the shredded chicken with green salsa, and season with salt and pepper.
  2. Warm the tortillas slightly to make them pliable, then fill each tortilla with the chicken mixture and roll them up.
  3. Place the rolled tortillas seam-side down in a baking dish.
  4. Pour remaining green salsa over the top and sprinkle with shredded cheese.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for about 20 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  6. Serve hot, garnished with sour cream and chopped cilantro.

Notes

For added flavor, let the chicken marinate in green salsa before mixing. Consider adding diced jalapeños for heat.
