Ingredients
- 2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup salsa verde
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh cilantro for garnish
Instructions
- Place chicken breasts in the slow cooker.
- In a bowl, mix salsa verde, diced onion, minced garlic, cumin, chili powder, salt, and pepper.
- Pour the salsa mixture over the chicken in the slow cooker.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours, until the chicken is tender and easily shredded.
- Shred the chicken with two forks and mix it back into the sauce.
