Description

Delicious and juicy grilled chicken skewers paired with a tangy tzatziki sauce, perfect for summer gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound chicken breast, cut into cubes
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 teaspoons dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 wooden or metal skewers
  • 1 cup Greek yogurt
  • 1 cucumber, grated
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix olive oil, dried oregano, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  2. Add chicken cubes to the marinade and toss to coat. Marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  3. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  4. Thread the marinated chicken onto the skewers, leaving space between cubes.
  5. Grill the chicken skewers for 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally, until fully cooked and internal temperature reaches 165°F.
  6. For tzatziki sauce, combine Greek yogurt, grated cucumber, minced garlic, lemon juice, and salt in a bowl and mix well.
  7. Serve the grilled chicken skewers warm with tzatziki sauce on the side.

Notes

Try adding fresh herbs like parsley or cilantro to the marinade for extra flavor. Allow chicken to rest for a few minutes after grilling.
