Description

A vibrant take on street tacos featuring marinated carne asada, warm corn tortillas, and fresh toppings.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb Carne asada (beef)
  • 8 Corn tortillas
  • 1/2 cup Fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 1/2 cup Onions, diced
  • 1 Lime, cut into wedges
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Pepper
  • 2 tbsp Oil for cooking


Instructions

  1. Marinate the carne asada with salt, pepper, and your choice of marinade for at least 30 minutes.
  2. Heat a skillet over high heat and add oil.
  3. Sear the marinated carne asada for about 3-5 minutes on each side or until cooked to your liking.
  4. Remove from the skillet and let it rest for a few minutes before slicing.
  5. Warm the corn tortillas in the skillet until pliable.
  6. Serve the sliced carne asada in the tortillas, topped with fresh cilantro, onions, and a squeeze of lime.

Notes
