Description

A succulent grilled chicken dish topped with smoky bacon, zesty BBQ sauce, and melty Monterey Jack cheese, perfect for summer cookouts or weeknight dinners.

Ingredients

  • 4 chicken breasts
  • 1 cup Monterey Jack cheese, shredded
  • 4 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1 cup BBQ sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil for grilling

Instructions

  1. Preheat the grill over medium heat.
  2. Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and a drizzle of olive oil.
  3. Grill the chicken for about 6-7 minutes on each side or until cooked through.
  4. During the last few minutes of grilling, brush BBQ sauce over the chicken.
  5. Top each chicken breast with shredded Monterey Jack cheese and crumbled bacon.
  6. Close the grill lid to melt the cheese, then serve hot.

Notes

For enhanced flavor, marinate the chicken in BBQ sauce for a few hours before grilling. Use a meat thermometer to ensure the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F.
