Delightful oven-baked chicken and broccoli nuggets that are easy to make and packed with nutrition for the whole family.
Ingredients
- 1 cup cooked chicken, shredded
- 1 cup broccoli, finely chopped
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup grated cheese (optional)
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Olive oil for baking
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a large bowl, combine the shredded chicken, chopped broccoli, breadcrumbs, cheese, egg, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Mix until well combined.
- Form the mixture into nugget shapes and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Lightly drizzle or spray the nuggets with olive oil.
- Bake for about 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown, flipping halfway through.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
Store leftover nuggets in an airtight container for up to three days. Reheat in the oven or air fryer for best results.
