Ingredients
- 1 lb chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1 cup orange juice
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Green onions, chopped (for garnish)
- Sesame seeds (for garnish)
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix the orange juice, soy sauce, honey, cornstarch, garlic, and ginger.
- Heat the vegetable oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Add the chicken pieces and cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
- Pour the orange sauce over the chicken and stir to combine.
- Cook for another 3-5 minutes, allowing the sauce to thicken.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve hot, garnished with green onions and sesame seeds.
Notes
Use freshly squeezed orange juice for the best flavor. Ensure to not overcrowd the skillet for even cooking.
