  • 2 tablespoons (28g) unsalted butter
  • 1 cup (150g) chopped celery
  • 1 cup (150g) chopped onions
  • 1/2 teaspoon (1g) dried thyme
  • 1/2 teaspoon (1g) dried sage
  • 1/4 teaspoon (0.5g) dried rosemary
  • 1/4 teaspoon (0.5g) salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon (0.5g) black pepper
  • 1/2 cup (120ml) vegetable broth


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Spread the bread cubes on a baking sheet.
  3. Toast bread cubes in the oven for 10 minutes.
  4. Remove the bread cubes from the oven and set aside.
  5. Melt the butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
  6. Add the chopped celery and onions to the skillet.
  7. Sauté the celery and onions until soft, about 5 minutes.
  8. Stir in the dried thyme, sage, and rosemary.
  9. Add salt and black pepper to the mixture.
  10. Pour in the chicken or vegetable broth, stirring to combine.
